The hotel is located opposite Criccieth Castle, and can be found by following signs to the castle from the centre of Criccieth.

Criccieth itself is located on the A497 which runs between Porthmadog and Pwllhefi. Porthmadog, 4 miles away, is the centre for the Ffestiniog Steam Railway, and only two miles from the famous Portmeirion Village.

The town is an unspoilt seaside resort with the 13th century castle dividing two south facing beaches.
